Jeez laweez - must've been a year since I last updated my DA account. I mean, I did forget my login at one point. AND I went and made my website - thisisvinsanity.com - AND got a job as an animator. But still

By the way, websites are overrated. DeviantArt is waaaay easier; I just have to worry about the art, y'know? Same with my photobucket account, which is where I have been updating constantly this year. It's no big deal; there's my first normal mapped model over there (in Mudbox), and I finished the model for Reia...I think that's what I called her here? Maybe I did another Star Fox model, I can't remember. Also, I joined - and dropped out of - a Sonic mod! Been a busy year, but I'm glad to be back at DA

In order to celebrate my return, I've brought back a pretty professional looking model sheet for Sparkster the Rocket Knight. I gotta finish a texture for Star Fox, model Sparkster, and then do a monster design to normal map the crap out of it And all of that will eventually end up here on DA. I ain't updating a new website till I need a new job, so f*** that.

Oh yea, and my kidney failed and I'm on medical leave from work and waiting for a new one from a family member. Whew! Busy-ass yearXD

Sorry y'all, I took down everything I've done so far for Shadows of Lylat. I still encourage every Star Fox fan to look forward to the project - [link] Everyone of the guys I'm working with are doing some fantastic work, and at some point in the future you'll get to see everything and play it too. It's gonna be fantastic!

It's just a shame that I decided to take everything down RIGHT AFTER I finished texturing the Cornerian Bomber, and it's looking hot too....

Remember; just make games YOU'D like to play. As long as you have that perspective, of someone who plays games for FUN, it'll resonate with people. NEVER, EVER consider what you do - for fun - as "elitist" in any way. Those are the dicks who ruin games online for other people; the "hardcore" gamers who killed their own platform (the PC), and suck as human beings

Ok; I must remember this for later. The idea for my MacGuyver game? fuh-get about it. What I'm gonna do instead, if I ever get the chance, is take Professor Phineous here and throw him in a Steam punk era with the same gameplay and a steam-powered robot sidekick. Think Mike Mignola's "The Amazing Screw-On Head' style shenanigans, only with the inventing gameplay from the MacGyver idea...

I was recently informed that, because I wasn't granted permission to use certain images, I would have to take down a certain piece in my gallery. Unfortunately for me, it happened to get the most comments on anything I've yet done on DA D'oh!

For all you fans of "THIS is Cosplay", sorry. It had to go - what can I say? I'll be sure to get permission to use photos in the future, so it never happens again...
